Monday, July 3
What: Stone Crabs Independence Day Celebration

Tuesday, July 4
What: Annual 4th of July Celebration
When: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
The celebration kicks off with annual Freedom Swim on Charlotte Harbor. Festivities will include live music and dancing; Harpoon Harry’s will offer kids’ crafts, treats and face painting, bathing suit and Hula Hoop contests. What: 4th Fest 2017
When: 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
Admission: $3; kids under 12 free
There will be vendors, displays, food, drinks, live local music, inflatable waterslides, with fireworks slated for 9 p.m. All rides/food/beverages require tickets, except waterslides & bounce houses which accept tickets or a $10 all-day wristband. What: Firecracker Festival
Where: 300 W. Dearborn St.
When: 10 a.m.
The annual Englewood Firecracker Festival, Block Party and Craft Show, followed by one of the largest fireworks shows in Southwest Florida, is presented by the Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary. Enjoy food from local restaurants and vendors, as well as ice cold beer and frozen drinks. Over 60 craft vendors will be lining Dearborn Street, along with the area’s largest muscle car show. A kids game area with water slides and bounce houses will also be available. There will be three live bands with music beginning at noon. The Rotary will also be hosting their World Famous “Chicken Sheet BINGO.” The fireworks show will “Light up Lemon Bay” from Middle Beach (Blind Pass Beach) on Manasota Key after dark.
